COMERIO ERCOLE is in a position to supply “turnkey” mixing plants, including engineering services and specific know-how, if required, to meet any customer needs. In this specific presentation, we focus on the large-size internal mixers MIX-MAGNUM® 270, 370, and 430 liters. However, we also offer other sizes, ranging from laboratory-scale 2 liters up to 240 liters. The COMERIO ERCOLE supply includes mixing equipment that guarantees efficiency and cooling capacity, intensive and distributive mixing with homogeneous powder incorporation, process flexibility and advanced technology, reduced setup time and accuracy to ensure high quality with minimal personnel involvement. Additionally, it provides process cost savings and scrap reduction. Rotors developed by COMERIO ERCOLE provide process improvements based on their ability to perform the mixing action between the rotor and the mixing chamber. These rotors are equipped with radial bearings to bear radial loads and thrust bearings to bear axial loads. Axial bearings negate the axial movement of the rotors caused by the axial play of the radial bearings. Cooling efficiency is ensured by a specially designed, fully water-cooled chamber. Dust stops are designed to automatically adjust the sealing force according to the pressure on the batch inside the mixing chamber. This is achieved by using the same pressurized air supplied to the ram to pressurize the dust stops, resulting in dust stops that are pressurized with a high load only when necessary.
JULY 2024 has been an incredibly busy and fulfilling month for us.
Our team had the opportunity to participate in the DKT fair in Nuremberg this month: DKT is a premier event in the rubber industry, attracting professionals, experts and innovators from around the globe. The event provides a platform for showcasing the latest advancements, sharing knowledge and networking with industry leaders. Attendees have the chance to explore new technologies and engage in discussions that shape the future of the rubber industry. Our booth attracted a significant number of visitors and we were thrilled to see the high level of interest in our products and projects. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to demonstrate our innovations and to present our HERCULES® platform to the public. HERCULES® is designed to revolutionize the industry with its advanced features and user-friendly interface, providing the user the chance to monitor the availability, performance and quality of our plants.
The enthusiastic response from attendees has been incredibly encouraging and we are excited to further develop and refine the platform to meet the needs of our customers! Additionally, we are proud to announce that COMERIO ERCOLE has once again achieved ISO 45001 certification. This certification reaffirms our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all our team.
In addition several complete plants (calendaring lines and mixing lines) have been delivered in this “hot” month, over 180 big boxes in seaworthy execution have been positively managed based upon our logistic department great activity.
IN SHORT: Our logistics department was very busy in July with the shipment of various plants, handling over 180 large crates during the month. The commercial division attended the DKT trade fair in Germany, which saw a large turnout of industry professionals. There were also trips to Asia and America for meetings and presentations. It was therefore a very ‘hot’ month, with the entire company team contributing. Additionally, internally we received confirmation of the ISO 45001 certification. Last but not least, there was a moment for the whole of our large family to gather and bid farewell to “Casati”.
